Mix the following in a large bowl:
fresh spinach
shredded cheddar cheese
croutons
crumbled bacon
dressing (below)

Dressing

1 cup olive oil (no substitutes)
1 Tbsp grated onion
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup wine vinegar
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt

Mix all this together and pour over salad.
